    Traffic Enforcement Division

    The Traffic Enforcement Division (T.E.D) is a subdivision within the Blaine County Sheriff’s Department that primarily focuses on Traffic enforcement and the suppression of aggressive drivers. All members of T.E.D are expected to be very well versed with the Traffic section (SA107R) within the San Andreas Penal Code. Our Traffic Enforcement Division also utilizes different proactive activities such as DUI checkpoints, and basic maintenance checks to ensure the roads in Blaine County are the safest possible at all times. Deputies active as Traffic enforcement also have the ability to run stationary radar on the County’s busy freeways.

    Game Wardens are responsible for upholding all of the fish, wildlife, camping, forest, and marine laws within the jurisdiction of Blaine County and surrounding areas when needed.

    Our objective in the K-9 specialty division is to enforce the laws of San Andreas with the assistance of our canine workers. Their abilities will be utilized to go above and beyond the strengths of the deputies around them. They will locate drugs, bombs, weapons, victims, and suspects all for the purpose of protecting the citizens of Blaine County, San Andreas.

    Chain of Command

    Sheriff

    The Sheriff is at the top of the Chain of Command. They oversee the whole department and make sure it is operating to its full potential.

    Undersheriff

    The Undersheriff is appointed by the Sheriff. The Undersheriff works hand in hand with the Sheriff and holds the same power as the Sheriff. They are a departmental admin and assist the Sheriff in making final decisions within the department.

    Chief Deputy

    The Chief Deputy is the third-in-command, and oversees larger-scale projects and decisions assigned by the Sheriff and/or Undersheriff that have a large impact on the department as a whole. They play a crucial role in ensuring the department's operations and functionality while working alongside the Command Team.

    Captain

    The Captain will oversee normal patrol deputies and the supervisors of the sheriff’s department. They overlook all subdivisions and the certifications within the sheriff’s department. They play a vital role in ensuring the success of the department and its inner workings.

    Lieutenant

    A Lieutenant is responsible for making sure the department flows smoothly and ensure the Supervisors are on task and making sure they are all on the same page. They oversee the supervisors, assist them with anything they may need or take it up the chain if required.

    Staff Sergeant

    A Staff Sergeant is appointed when the command staff has seen them excel as a sergeant and have demonstrated that they are ready, and have proved that they should move up. A Staff Sergeant should assist and mentor the new Sergeants on how to perform their duties as a supervisor

    Sergeant

    A Sergeant is the very first supervisor position within the Sheriff’s Department. They are expected to be able to assist all Deputies with any of their questions or concerns in and out of game. They will help relay information to their superiors as needed. .They must demonstrate their abilities, such as leadership, teamwork, respect, passion both in and out of patrol.
